
Laptop Repairs Shop Policy
1. Introduction Welcome to LAPTECH MASTERS (LTP), your trusted partner in laptop repairs and maintenance. This policy outlines our commitments to service, the procedures we follow, and the responsibilities of both our shop and our customers. By engaging with our services, you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
2. Service Scope
- Diagnostics: Initial inspection and diagnostics to identify issues.
- Repairs: Hardware and software repairs, including but not limited to screen replacements, battery replacements, keyboard repairs, software troubleshooting, and virus removal.
- Maintenance: Regular maintenance services, including cleaning, software updates, and performance optimization.
3. Service Process
- Check-in: Customers are required to fill out a service request form, providing detailed information about the issue(s) with the laptop.
- Diagnostics: A non-refundable diagnostic fee will be charged. This fee will be applied towards the cost of repairs if the customer chooses to proceed.
- Estimate: After diagnostics, a detailed estimate of the repair costs will be provided. No repairs will be conducted without customer approval.
- Approval: Customers must approve the estimate and provide consent to proceed with the repairs.
- Repair: Upon approval, repairs will be carried out. Customers will be notified of the progress and any unforeseen issues that may arise.
- Quality Check: Post-repair, a thorough quality check will be performed to ensure all issues have been resolved.
- Pickup: Customers will be notified when their laptop is ready for pickup. Full payment is required at the time of pickup.
4. Warranty and Liability
- Repair Warranty: We offer a 3 months warranty on parts and labor for all repairs performed. This warranty does not cover issues arising from physical damage, liquid damage, or software-related problems post-repair.
- Parts Warranty: All replacement parts come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims for defective parts will be handled as per the manufacturer’s policies.
- Data Protection: While we take utmost care during repairs, we are not responsible for any data loss. Customers are advised to back up their data before submitting their laptops for service.
- Liability Limitation: Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair service. We are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Customers must provide accurate and complete information about the issues with their laptop.
- Timely Pickup: Customers are required to pick up their repaired laptops within 30 days of notification. Laptops not picked up within this timeframe may incur storage fees or be disposed of.
- Data Backup: Customers must back up their data before submitting their laptops for repair.
- Payment: Full payment for services rendered is required at the time of pickup. We accept Direct Cash Payment, Bank Transfer, Paypal, Pay gateway.
6. Confidentiality We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. All customer data and information related to the repair services will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing our services.
7. Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be handled through [specify arbitration/mediation procedures or jurisdiction].
